his wide range of interests, his impulsive imagination and his lifelong
ambition for money, Mark Twain held an assortment of jobs: steamboat captain,
journalist, lecturer, world traveller and game inventor. During the
1880s, Twain designed and marketed the "Memory Builder Game" which focused
specifically on European royalty.
