Famous Volcanic Eruptions

Some eruptions throughout history have been significant in their contribution to volcanology knowledge.  The following volcanoes were significant for their contribution to knowledge about eruptions.

Assignment: A 2-page, word processed report on any one of the volcanic eruptions listed below.  The first part of the paper should be about the mountain itself: location and history, etc.  The second part of the paper should be about the eruption during the year stated.
