Assignment:
Science Mobile

1.  Choose a Science related job that interests you.
2.  Make a mobile that gives information about a specific type of science job.  In paragraph form explain the responsibilities of your scientist.  Explain what type of work they are involved in.  What do they do?  Do they work in a laboratory setting or a different environment?  Discuss some tools they might use.  Include any other information about your specific science job that you feel in important.  Hang it by some string from the center of a coat hanger.  This portion should be at least two paragraphs.
3.  Find two contributions that this type of scientist has made.  May be from one or two different scientists.  On one side of paper please list the two contributions.  On the other side explain how these contributions have helped the world.
4.  Find the name of a scientist that works in your chosen field.  On one side of the paper write the name of the scientist. Also, include the date of birth and date of death.  On the other side, write and finish this statement:  If this scientist were here today I would ask...
5.  Find a picture or example of a piece of equipment that your scientists would use.  Hang it from one end of the coat hanger.
6.  Find a picture or  example of something that your scientist will study. Hang it from the other end of the coat hanger.
7.  Write the name of your chosen science job on two different pieces of paper and mount them over the body of your coat hanger.  One should face in each direction.
8.  Decorate or expand your project in any way you would like.  Be Creative!
