Mythology - Rauseo - Lions

Part A:  The Writing Assignment (3-4 paragraphs long). 
The first paragraph - you will identify the god/goddess you selected and explain your personal interst in him/her. 
The second paragraph - you will include and label five interesting facts discovered through your research. 
The third paragraph - you will wrap it up with a conclusion that emphasizes the spectacular qualities of the god you selected. 

Focus Area Corrections:
Strong Opening - 30 points 
Research Facts - 25 points 
Length - 3-4 paragraphs - 15 points 
Strong Closing - 30 points 

Part B: The Visual
You will create a mask that is neat and reflects the god's personality or prowess.  It should be brightly colored and easily identifiable. 

Focus Area Corrections:
Quality of Workmanship - 35 points 
Symbol of power or notoriety show - 35 points 
Brightly colored - 30 points 

Part C: The Oral Presentation
Each student will need to show the mask and make a two to four minute oral presentation talking about the god/goddess of their choice.

Staying within the time limit - 35 points 
Naming the god/goddess - 30 points 
Sharing the five facts you uncovered about the god's life - 35 points
