Steps and Details for Creating a Mask

You will create a mask that depicts the image of the god/goddess that you have researched.  This mask will have a symbol that clearly helps someone identify who that god is.  It should reflect the god's personality or prowess in someway.  For example, if you were doing Zeus, he might have a crown because he is the ruler of Mount Olympus.  The crown might have a thunderbolt painted on it to symbolize his power and authority.  The mask should be neat, colorful, reflect serious work and careful consideration of the assignment elements. Your name and the name of the god/goddess must appear in the back of the mask.  This mask must also have a hook attached for display purposes.  The mask should not be larger than 18" by 18".
