Although this article is electronically reproduced November 15, 2002 on the library's website, Ms. Smoller located "Another Patriot Gone"  when reading the Danvers Courier newspaper on microfilm housed at the Danvers Archives in the Peabody Institute, Danvers.

The Danvers Courier was a weekly newspaper published on Central Street in the southern village of Danvers (now Peabody Square) from 1845-1849.  It was printed by the Courier Press.

George Carleton was the publisher of the Danvers Courier. 

Fitch Poole, Jr., the author of the article,  was an editor of the Danvers Courier.

This article appeared on November 8, 1845.
