Resource Information

Although Fitch Poole, Jr.'s article "The Old Bell Tavern" was published electronically in November 2000, his article was written in  1840  for the Salem Gazette on the occasion of the demolition of the Bell Tavern. 

The article appeared in the Danvers Courier newspaper and later appeared in The Historical Collections of the Danvers Historical Society.  The edition in the Historical Collections is one of the few places where Fitch Poole is listed as the author.

The Historical Collections of the Danvers Historical Society is a Periodical and a Scholarly Journal Article.  It is a printed journal or abstract.
