SEPTEMBER 2003 STARS OF THE MONTH

Students who show evidence of good citizenship, who care about their school, their fellow students and adults in the building, are eligible to become Middle School Stars of the Month.

A student must be nominated by a teacher or staff member.  Acts of courtesy, honesty, a service contribution to the school, volunteering time and energy to the school, improving academic performance, etc., are types of acts earning a nomination.

Students' of the month are photographed and the pictures are place on an awards board, in each grade, by picture and name.  A letter of recognition is sent to parents of each recipient and a notation is made on their permanent record in the Guidance Office.

In addition to having their names displayed on the local educational TV channel, each students is awarded a special certificate.
