The Twenty Plus (20+)
 Reading Program

In order to involve each student in a program which will encourage students to read for pleasure, a school-wide reading program has been implemented.  Grades for participation in this program will be included in determining honor roll eligibility.

Reading - Cluster or SPED teachers are requested to monitor this program by:

- Approving each book selected
- Assuring participation by each student.
- Discussing the book after it has been read by asking general questions about the content of the story, theme, characters, etc.
- Maintaining a record of books read.

Each student is encouraged to read at least two books each quarter.

Report card grades in Twenty Plus will reflect the following achievement:

A - Four or more books

B - Three books

C - Two books

D - One book

F - No books
